Hello to all
the Funerus friends and freaks! We have returned from some
great shows over the last few months. The trip to Japan and
the shows last year were so killer! Many thanks to Naru and
family, Anatomia, Tim Tumor, and Yusuke and Defiled! Japan
is a beautiful country, and the Japanese people were just
cool as hell! Thanks for so much support!
Next was Mexico, and again, we had such a great time! The
shows were amazing, and thank you to everyone who came out
to the shows!
We just returned from shows in Canada recently. Many thanks
to Mark, Deamon, and to all the sick fuckers who showed their
support at the shows! We met alot of cool people and made
some friends for life!
And lastly we played the Central Illinois
Metalfest last Saturday night. The fest was great and we were
happy to get such a great response, and to be able to play
with such killer bands as Massacre, Nominon, Denial Fiend,
Cardiac Arrest, Estuary and many more! Many, many thanks to
Matt Bishop and everyone else involved in the fest!

The
band is very excited to be playing our first shows in Canada
in June/July on the Bloodletting in the East tour with Incantation
and Deamon. See you at the shows!

We
are looking forward to returning to Mexico for the shows in
May. We have played in Mexico many times, but this is the first
time we have played in any of these cities. We can't wait for
the crazy Mexican crowds that we have seen before!
Also we are excited to be playing our first shows with our new
lineup. This is with our new drummer, Sam Inzerra (Morpheus
Descends/Deadspeak/Mortician). We have been working with Sam
for a while on new material and we look forward to debuting
some new music at the upcoming shows!

would like to thank everyone involved in the Blitzkrieg tour,
especially the metallers that gave us so must support at the
shows! We loved Poland, had a lot of fun, and met so many
cool people!
We were overwhelmed by the great responses every night and
it was killer to see that so many people were familiar with
our music! Poland, you and your cherry vodka rule!

In other news, we will be traveling to Japan for some shows
in a few weeks. We are highly anticipating these shows and
can't wait to unleash some sewage on our friends in Japan.

will be the opening band for the Blitzkrieg 4 tour of Poland
in September/October, with Incantation, Krisiun, Rotting Christ
and Vader. We are very happy to be part of this tour and are

to announce that we will be returning to tour South America
in June. We are looking forward to this very much since we had
such killer responses to our shows in Brazil in September! See

We
have returned from our first ever shows in South America, specifically
Brazil. The shows were some of the best shows Funerus has ever
played! The band would like to thank Eduardo and Tumba Productions,
Victor, the promoters and staff at Bar Opiniao, Hammer Rock
Bar, Ledslay, and Lapa Multishow, the drivers, all the magazine
and webzine people that showed us support, and last but not
least thank you to every single metaller that came to the shows,
gave us their support, cheered for us, banged their heads or
just talked to us after the show! You kicked our asses, and
we will be back! See you after the next album!
If anyone has any good photos from the shows, please email them
to us so we can put them on the website.

will finally be spewing some sewage in South America! Dates

Before
any more time goes by, we'd like to say Happy New Year to
all our Funerus friends out there. We have been busy writing
and getting together a follow up album
for Festering Earth.
The show To Appease The Beast in LA in December was a killer
show for the band. Thanks to Juan, Christine, Sadistic Intent
and Dark Realm for the practice room and all at the Knitting
Factory.
Be on the lookout for Funerus in 2006!
